Ingredients

  • 1kg of “Mutakura” –i.e. a mixture of groundnuts and mumhare (cooked green mealies that have been sun dried)

Directions

  • Put the Mutakura mixture in a pot. Pour cold water until the Mixture is covered and let it soak overnight. This reduces cooking time.
  • Cook the mixture the following day at any time convenient.
  • Have about 2 litres boiling water on standby to add to the mixture until it is well cooked. The mixture should take about 1 hour to cook well on average heat
